Terminal Blocks
Terminal Blocks are used to provide a secure and reliable semi-permanent wire connection to PCBs and modules. The blocks are usually soldered to a PCB with strong through-hole connections.
We stock a range of terminal blocks in different pin arrangements to cater for most projects and PCB designs, with the most common using 2.54mm/0.1" pin spacing.
Wiring to a terminal block is easy - simply loosen the screw or clamp mechanism, pop your wire in (using ferrules ideally, or a tinned wire), then tighten the screw/mechanism back up. Always test the connection - you should be able to give the wire a decent tug without it budging!
